Wish You Were Here

Anushka Ravishankar, Various Artists Wish You Were Here is an offbeat take on the peculiarities of travel and a satire on fussy and eccentric travellers across the world. The brilliant nonsense verse captures snapshots of travellers at well-known destinations, and the vibrant, zany illustrations enhance the humour of the text. Exaggeratedly stock pictures of tourist places across the world, usually found in travel brochures, form the backdrops. Vibrant pop art by Indian poster artists form the backgrounds for the action.
