Chiara Armellini

Chiara Armellini studied graphic design and illustration in Italy. She has since gone on to work with leading children’s book publishers in Europe. She is also interested in art education and has held creative workshops for children in libraries, bookstores, museums, and schools. Armellini came to India, as part of a programme, the Villa Swagatham project, an Indo-French cultural residency programme, initiated by the French Embassy and French Institute in India. She spent time at Cashew Cottage, a farm house and artists’ residence, which hosted her, and at Tara Books’ bookcraft workshop.
