BhadduHamir

Bhaddu Hamir

Bhaddu Hamir is a Pithora painter from the Rathva community in Central India. He has also worked in farming and construction labour to make a living. A Pithora painting is an offering made by the Rathvas to their guardian deity for protection and well being. Over the years, the lives and circumstances of their people may have changed but there remains a strong connection to the older way of doing things.
