Born in Battenberg in 1962, children’s book author Andreas Steinhoefel lives and works in Berlin as a translator, screenplay writer for radio and TV.
Born in 1961 in Berlin, Anja Tuckermann lives and works as a fulltime writer in that city. Anja writes mainly for young adults, and is also actively involved in theatre, and has written lyrics for musical pieces.
Gita Wolf started Tara Books as an independent publishing house based in India. An original and creative voice in contemporary Indian publishing, she is known for her interest in exploring and experimenting with the form of the book.
